Completions & commissioning questions

Straight answers on completions management, commissioning, auditing and how we work.

Completions management is the discipline of proving, with structured and traceable evidence, that every system on a project has been built, inspected and tested correctly and is ready for safe start-up and handover. It pulls together system breakdowns, ITRs, QVDs, punch lists and mechanical completion into one controlled process.

Completions proves a system is built and inspected correctly (mechanical completion). Commissioning then brings that system to life — pre-commissioning, functional testing and start-up through to energisation. We support both, end to end.

We support completions and commissioning across mining and resources, energy and power, oil and gas, infrastructure and civil, renewables and battery, and manufacturing and industrial projects — anywhere clean, audit-ready handover matters.

Both. We provide embedded on-site support as well as remote system administration, reporting and coordination — scaled to your project’s phase and location across Australia.

We set up and work across the major CCMS platforms including GoTechnology, WinPCS and Coreworx, and can advise on selecting the right system for your project. If you already have a system, we’ll work within it.

We use AI to automate the repetitive parts of completions and engineering workflows — data validation, progress reporting, punch and ITR checks, and dossier assembly. Automation does the heavy lifting; an engineer verifies anything that matters. The result is faster turnaround and cleaner data, with no less scrutiny.

Yes. Our completions auditing and assurance service gives you an independent check of MC readiness, ITR and QVD data integrity and dossier completeness, with a clear gap analysis and remediation plan.

No — earlier is better. The biggest wins come from designing the completions system and registers correctly before the field work starts, so data stays clean from the first walkdown.
