~20,000 assets

Roughly what a typical industrial site holds. Generators, transformers, cables, pumps, instruments. Every one needs tests and sign off before anyone may use it.

Projects fall over at handover

Construction is visible. You can see steel going up and cable being pulled. Completions is not visible, which is exactly why it gets left until the end, and why the end is where projects come apart.

The fix is structural. Instead of handing the site over as one enormous lump on the final day, you break it into subsystems and hand them over in pieces as they are finished and proven. Each piece carries its own evidence.

Two things follow from that. Nothing slips through, because every asset sits inside a subsystem that has to be closed out. And problems surface early enough to act on, while there is still schedule left to fix them.

What completions tracks for every one of those assets.

From FEED through to operations

Completions is not a phase at the end. It is a thread that runs the length of the project, and it is cheapest to get right at the start.

  1. FEED

Get the completions strategy and system breakdown right before construction starts, so the structure holds later.

  2. Construction

Tag and ITR registers live and populated, walkdowns run, punch raised and tracked against real subsystems.

  3. Mechanical completion

Each subsystem certified complete against its ITRs and punch, with the evidence to prove it.

  4. Handover

Subsystems handed to commissioning in pieces, each with a complete and defensible dossier behind it.

  5. Operations

A queryable asset record the operations team can actually use on day one.

Three people, three different wins

Owners

Early warning

Completions data is the earliest honest signal of whether the schedule is real. When the registers are clean, a slipping subsystem shows up months before it becomes a handover crisis.

Contractors

Provable progress

Claims stop being an argument. Progress is tied to signed tests against named assets, which is far harder to dispute and far faster to get paid on.

Operations

A usable record

At the end the plant owner inherits a structured, queryable record of every asset and every test, instead of a pallet of folders nobody can search.
