Clean handovers, fewer surprises.

What good completions looks like in practice. Real engagements on Western Australian industrial projects, and what changed on each.

Battery storage project, WA: completions rebuilt mid-construction

The principal contractor had been removed from site. The project was behind schedule, over budget, and had no working completions system to hand over from.

  • Stood up a complete completions system in four weeks, from a standing start
  • Built the systemisation, ITR registers and workflows covering 5,000 to 7,000 ITRs
  • Scaled the completions team up to work an aggressive recovery schedule
  • Completed the construction completions scope for contractor Genus

Same project, commissioning phase: CCMS handed to us

With construction closing out, the client wanted completions data to carry straight into commissioning instead of being rebuilt for a second time.

  • Retained under a separate contract to run the CCMS through commissioning
  • Worked alongside the client’s commissioning contractor rather than in parallel to them
  • Kept one source of truth for completions data from construction into start-up
  • Client and contractor are now in discussion with us on further projects

WA processing facility: system built before the field work

Engaged at early works and bridging works, before the bulk of construction. The completions system could be designed properly rather than retrofitted under pressure.

  • Migrated the project from MCplus to PIMS and delivered the new scope in four months
  • Built the majority of the systemisation and ITR registers up front
  • Completions procedures and execution plan written, approved and in place
  • Field data structured and traceable from the first walkdown

Client names withheld where projects are commercially or schedule sensitive. Even engaging at early works, we would start earlier again: the sooner the system exists, the less there is to fix. References available on request.

The difference

Before & after Corefield Systems

Before
  • ITRs scattered across spreadsheets
  • Punch lists no one fully trusts
  • Handover dossier assembled in a panic
  • Reporting that raises more questions than it answers
  • Audit findings late, when they hurt most
After
  • One completions system, field to handover
  • Clean, traceable ITR and QVD data
  • Dossiers that pass acceptance first time
  • Reporting leadership can act on
  • Issues found early, when they’re cheap to fix
Client feedback

What clients say

“Attie and Ruben ran the completions side of the CBESS1 commissioning for us. They kept the PIMS data clean, kept the reporting current, and gave us good visibility into where completions stood throughout commissioning. They also found ways to automate a lot of the reporting and admin that would otherwise have taken the team a significant amount of time. I’d be happy to have them involved in any project I’m running.”

“We brought Corefield in to handle completions on the WBESS project. They set the system up properly, engaged with the project engineering and construction teams where it mattered, kept the ITR and completions data clean through to sign-off, jumping through hoops that typically crop up, and gave us reporting we could rely on. For a small team they know the ropes and what completions a construction project requires. I would definitely use them again.”
